Even after all these years, I continue to hold the six-day ‘Manifesting a Meaningful Life’ experience as THE critical conversation for living a meaningful Life, of your own choosing. Big! Bold! Boundless and formless! Edgy, provocative, compelling… not because it’s a pathway but because it is not; offering up the unsettled, feral essence of our potential Being. It is not that we move through those conversations, it is more that we trek… and climb the rockfaces that beckon… and make our way through the underwater caves, in the dark… with nothing but our inner truth to lead the way. For me, it has become a living expression of The Great Adventure that continues to shape my life. These explorations are the compass that allows me to reach my destiny.
In my experience of it, density, intensity and impeccability are essential to accelerating the outcome from the process of manifestation. To be able to hold focus without distraction; to be able to coalesce all of the living force that I AM to flow through the energetic framework of the intention held by my body (not my intellect) – by the device that is directly connected to the Signal of Self – is what it takes.
Impeccability. Over now decades of a life lived from this place, I know without hesitation that impeccability is the essential element of the dynamic tension that manifestation demands.
Impeccability. The consistent, unwavering and uncompromising reclamation and expression of Self-truth. No more lying to or about myself, to myself or another, for any reason.
In the work that I do, given the world in which I live (and that surrounds all that I create, say, do and am), it often appears easier, ‘wiser’, less of a challenge to myself and others, to surrender my impeccability. To go along to get along. To water down, ‘dumb down’, pull back, ease up on… call it what you will!… the full expression of the unwavering truth of who I know myself to be. In the moment of that realization, the Great Shield of the need to externally reference falls away… and the I AM that I am emerges, unapologetic, into the domain of day-to-day reality.
Manifestation – of a different thought, a different day, a different life and/or a different world! – doesn’t just require but DEMANDS impeccability! Without this relentless pursuit of our own full and authentic expression of Being, we fall short of manifesting what we desire, leaving us grappling with some undefined and un-cherished hybrid creation; lamenting what is and longing for what might have been had we but had the courage to be true to our intuitive intention.
It has always puzzled me how so many are troubled by intensity and feel the need to ‘tone it down’ or ‘ease up ‘ or ‘lighten up!’. It has puzzled me how there seems to be something wrong or inappropriate about very quickly moving an idea into expression into the physical world, often having to slow down and surrender it to the intellect so that others might track its birth into the physical. In this moment, I remember the Sekhmet Rising book project – 3 months almost to the day, from original idea to books in the lobby! Who would have thought that I could have an idea, attract 17 women to it, capture contributions, edit them, design a cover, engage production and have a final (wonderful!) product in 90 days. It manifests first in the domain of thought and then quickly flows into expression in matter…if we allow it to do so.
In any and all experience, the seed of a greater possibility lies dormant.. waiting for us to direct the full measure of our intention to its awakening. The question that remains: are we willing to do what it will take to nurture its emergence?
All around me is changing and will continue to change. Impeccability, intensity and density – beginning first with me – are once again in flow. I know the force of this flow when engaged in the good company of others. Without it, life takes on the quality of being flaccid… like constantly pushing string; or the miserable goal of constantly squeezing ourselves into the ever-decreasing space within which we are willing and able to compress our Selves. No more. In this new direction, the challenge becomes: Can I be part of a collective without losing mySelf to its lowest shared intention?
