My Own Emergence: Letting Go

To Harriet’s thoughts, I would add: the courage, the wisdom and the great sense of humour to know when it’s time to let go.

The original company (Partners in Renewal) was launched in 1990; followed by the emergence of the WEL-Systems Institute in 1995.  That was 34  years ago!

The Institute was created to be a beacon for a different way; and a repository of (now) a vast and varied archive of resources to encourage and support the curious along the way.  Not just  for those new to the opportunity but also for those courageous Souls who are willing to be there and allow their own evolution to cast a light, along the way. These now include five books; hundreds of articles and blog posts; a wide range of both short and comprehensive audio programs; over 100 radio show episodes; audio recordings from presentations and conversations; and an offering of the frameworks for what have become the deep dive, Life-expanding intensives that are the WEL-Systems Signature Programs. Those who offer access to these experiences and point to these resources do so in support of their own unique intentions as the creators of their own business expressions. The Institute does not employ anyone – and it supports all who reveal their own WEL-Systems journey as the invitation for others to begin theirs. The Institute represents a vision for the accelerated evolution of human beings. It is a template for an Emerging Species to find its unique expression in a world that is only too eager for it to be both silenced and assimilated. The Institute will always stand – audible and visible – as the invitation to an alternative.

For more than 30 years, my life has been filled with the Great Adventure of embracing human evolution by intention; as a state of being and not from an accumulation of random acts provoking evolution, in spite of ourselves. I could not have imagined a more powerful way to live – a life filled with the highest of highs and the deepest of lows… leading me to face into and emerge from my own darkest moments far more resourceful and resilient than I might have imagined myself to be capable of! I have indeed, lived a charmed life and am deeply grateful for having done so.

And now, as I anticipate my fast-approaching 75th birthday in 2025, I know that my time to let go is also fast approaching. I face into this reality knowing that I have held nothing back; that I have given all there was for me to contribute; and that now, new generations are rising to the occasion of their own magnificence and opening gateways for others, in a variety of ways, to take a stand for themselves. It brings me immense joy to know that the majesty of the innate and the intuitive will continue to have a place of significance in the emerging creations to come.

Enter: Stela Murrizi. For the last six years, Stela has filled her Life with the discoveries that the WEL-Systems body of knowledge makes possible. And now – with deep roots in her own journey and a trust in its potential for others – Stela has agreed to stand as Guardian of the Vision of the WEL-Systems Institute. It brings me great comfort to know that my life’s work is in her enthusiastic and capable hands for the decades to come. Who knows what magic awaits? There is no way to know since all that is WEL-Systems sits in the ever-expanding crucible of emergence; of embracing the moment and trusting the body to do what is required. As I continue to remove myself from the day-to-day engagements through the Institute, I know that all who are drawn to its vision will be welcomed and supported by Stela and those others who are choosing this potential, for themselves.

For the coming months, I will continue to be here… moving increasingly into the background while engaging with those who are choosing to support others in their evolution. Without doubt, as a new and powerful potential emerges, there will come with it the twists and turns that are the evidence of its arrival! I welcome these and look forward to the compelling invitation to my own evolution that they will, without doubt, present. Now, as my life continues to unfold, I am coming to fully appreciate just what a journey of ‘letting go’ requires; who I must become in order for it to continue to bring deep meaning into my life;  and the great gift that is the absence of resistance.  More and more, I am becoming the screen door that welcomes the waters of change.

These days, I am most drawn to engaging with those who dare press the edges of their own limitations… often ‘written off’ by or ‘expelled’ from what ‘the many’ might label ‘normal’.  Simply put, I will continue contributing where the opportunity presents. As the world increases its spin, facilitating the monthly Navigating Chaos explorations will remain a constant; and I may offer a couple of small-group retreats before a final exit from the Institute by the end of 2025. Having said that, I do continue to trust that it all unfolds as it should.

Likely, I will continue to post on my blog as I am moved to do so. I think it’s pretty safe to presume that I will always have thoughts to share on pretty much everything that captures my attention. 🙂 (LOL… you’re welcome!)

My deepest thanks and appreciation to the hundreds upon hundreds who have journeyed with me these last 30+ years. I have been profoundly changed by each and every one of you. I have been moved by the kind of laughter that streamed tears down my cheeks… and folded in agony at the searing pain experienced by far too many at the hands of those professing to love them… and everything in between. I have stood with you as you faced into your pain… your terror… and the immensity of your vision for yourself and your world. I hold myself  deeply honoured to have been entrusted with such a sacred journey. I am grateful.

This recognition of all things past, present and future would not be complete for me without expressing my gratitude, appreciation and deepest of RIG for Sheila Winter Wallace: my long-time friend, ally and confidante of over 30 years; my most trusted colleague, with the touch of a Magician and the Life-giving compassion that only a Crone can muster, to invite and allow evolution at its own pace; and my most unflinching supporter as I sometimes struggled to do what was required to ensure the best of care for both of my ageing parents. For over 17 years, Sheila has brought her formidable presence and vast array of skills to ensure that those who are in the search will find what they seek. Through her combination of the WEL-Systems body of knowledge, her great love of Huna (the practices of the ancient Hawaiians) and a vast array of skills and interventions, countless women have come home to themselves… ready, willing and able to redefine and recreate their reality as they so desire. From the bottom of my heart, Sheila, mahalo for all that you ARE and all that you have contributed to so many… including myself. The godForce in me recognizes and honours the godForce in you.

I continue to live with the greatest of RIG for the majesty of the human Spirit and its ability to transform the moment and reshape reality.
