I’m really getting the twists and turns of this ‘retirement’ thing! Have to admit: I am settling in nicely. Now a first-time Gramma (with the most adorable Little Human in the world within easy smooching distance!), I greatly appreciate the pace of my life as well as the proximity to all that is meaningful for me, within it. And right at the top of that list is my family.
As I watch my immediate family grow, I am also watching my community of shared collective consciousness expand. Despite my choice to remove myself (and perhaps, even because of it), I am delighting in connecting via email and meeting face-to-face with the awakening and emerging women who are shaping their ‘now’ and laying the foundations for a new, more expansive ‘reality’. In their voices, I can hear the resonance of new possibility as it unfolds.

Long ago, I realized that telling myself the truth is an act of courage… but telling my truth out loud, in the presence of others, is an act of transformation! I am honoured, Stela, to be in this place/in this time in your good company. I know what it takes to be authentically your constantly-evolving Self, in the company of others. In our shared, collective journey, we can be reminded of the depth of our courage when we forget; uplifted in those passing moments when we falter; and reminded that in every breath is the potential of a new choice… and a new reality.
