“Have you ever really considered what your core values for being alive are? What IS most important to you about being alive? And, if you have engaged in such a reflection, have you considered what has now changed? How was your life working for you before this world as we knew it came to an abrupt stop? How is this change in process suiting you now?
As surreal as it feels, this pause we are already well into and moving through is both critical and essential to the re-ordering of our lives for deeper connection to Self, to Other and to Gaia. I believe that we must move into easier, simpler and more compassionate ways of living and being; this is at the heart of whom we really are. We have a chance now to really awaken our Selves to the undeniable beauty of life which, until this forced pause interrupted our existing patterns of behaviour, had become so unappreciated, it was forgotten. It is the appreciation of beauty, in all aspects of our lives and our thinking, that ignites and sustains deep love for our Selves, for others and for the planet. That love knows undeniable compassion for Self and Other; it is the stuff of respect, integrity and generosity of spirit.”
