Given the world that was presenting, in June of 2023 I felt drawn to launch a monthly conversation to explore the elements of a world in turmoil; and its consequences for living our own meaningful and resourceful lives. From a shared interest in that intention, ‘Navigating Chaos’ took root.
Once a month for four hours, a small group of women deeply committed to their own intentional evolution would venture into tugging on the thicker and darker threads of habits of mind. From one month to the next, what was revealed was the deeply embedded neural weave that can so effectively keep us tethered to ways of moving through our reality that result in believing that creating the future from the past is a better idea than rocking the boat. Examining, in detail, the threads of that weave would bring to light our deep and (too often) denied relationship with the many things we would prefer to ignore: fear, truth, boundaries, self-betrayal, intention and ultimately, the godForce creator that lies dormant… waiting for us to awaken to our potential. It wasn’t always pretty and we always came out the other side. At best, lives transformed in a breath. At worst, we left the conversation no longer able to easily pretend that we did not already know.
There have now been 17 opportunities to engage in these life-expanding explorations; 68 hours covering a range of topics intended to bring to conscious and intentional consideration the many and varied challenges that hold the potential to act as barriers to our own evolution, in these turbulent times.
There are now 13 blogs posts covering a range of topics explored (most of them with sound files) intended to be both reminders and invitations to stay awake… stay mindful and intentional and present… and dare to continue the lines of enquiry that make you uncomfortable. The alternative is a state of habituated mindlessness… of abdicating to the deep grooves of repetition… and allowing the cultural current of compliance to determine the unfurling of a life less chosen.

I encourage you to remember their presence and in those moments when you may feel discouraged or overwhelmed, revisit ’the one’ that most obviously vibrates to your own internal state. The process is a living one and will always rise to the full measure of your own desire to discover.
In recent weeks, I have come face-to-face with the external evidence of my own internal pressure to surrender; to first, submerge into and only then emerge from the pressing need to choose a different direction for my own evolution. As a result, these monthly gatherings will continue into 2025 however, with a change of direction that will redefine what we call into the spotlight of our scrutiny. This change is reflected in the name that these explorations will carry, moving from Navigating Chaos (what we don’t want) to Navigating for Emergence ( what we do want: a deeply intimate and personal intention to emerge into that world of chaos, authentically and from an identity of Creator). Not likely that the chaos will leave us anytime soon. If we think we can wait for ‘the right time’ for us to lay claim to our own awaiting potential and engage, we may well go to our grave holding the deepest breath of Life, un-exhaled.
As we move into 2025, the focus of our conversations will redirect attention fully to navigating for our unique emergence despite all that may seem impenetrably detrimental to our chosen outcome; and what it will take for us to manifest – undaunted! – the ‘reality’ we choose for ourselves.

What I have lived in the last several weeks is undeniable evidence to me of a simple truth:
Pressure points are gateways…. turning points for reclamation and intentional redesign of an authentic Life, fully lived. To deny this realization and the presenting intelligence is to capitulate to a familiar past, already in decay and incapable of offering the Space essential to intentional evolution.
It takes courage, vision, stamina and deep commitment to emerge fully into the Life of your choosing, regardless of what seems to tear at you from the shadows. The fact that you continue to be here tells me you already have what it takes.
