Audacity: A salute to the women who dare…

January 12, 2023 by Louise LeBrun

It is not easy to be authentic in the living of your Life. The pressures to conform; to not stand out; to be reasonable and appropriate (whatever that means); to find the comfortable and acceptable middle ground that does not disturb… these override the inner drive to be fully present to and expressive of all that brings joy and meaning into your life!

In my now many years of experience with you, you are exceptional. You dare risk annoying others in the honouring of yourSelf. You are relentless in the pursuit of the fullness of your Being. You venture forth… discover…embrace what is awakened… and venture forth again! There is no destination greater than the power of the perpetual journey, itself.

Few cultural norms exist – particularly for women – that encourage us to embrace the sharp edges of living in this way. We are not encouraged to be unique but are pressed to compromise and conform… to blend in… to capitulate. And the good news? YOU will have none of it!

You are exceptional in your commitment to allow that deep desire to FULLY BE, to have the Space within which to Move… and express… and Flow into and become your best Life, lived.  In my decades of engaging with women, many are those who desire and few are those who dare to allow themselves to lock into that desire and BE its greatest champion.

I know you are not for everyone! I also know that for many, you will be an acquired preference. However, in the midst of it all… in the face of the turmoil and increasing chaos that is making its way through our comfortable acceptance of ’normal’…. I also know there are many, many women who – were they to know that they were in the presence of one who is steady and Fearless in the face of it all… one who could be trusted to not bolt at the emergence of the first challenge that rises up to block the way – would grab hold of the moment that calls to them and step boldly into a life of their own design. No small feat… and one that demands the full embrace of the unknown.

Magnificence demands a ferocity of embrace for its awakening… and will settle for nothing less.
