Hi Ray, I think we all need to be reminded, given the degree to which we are encouraged by all that surrounds us to hold ourselves as so easily overwhelmed. In my experience, it is never the thing I am avoiding that does the damage – it is the process of ‘avoidance’, itself. The underpinnings of avoidance declare: I am not up to it… and in that, I declare myself to be so and the world responds.
