I spend much of my time in conversation with others. As magnificent as these experiences most often are, there are times when I long for the sound of my own inner truth; the time to pause… take a breath… and listen for the sound of that which is deeply authentic to me. Perhaps in taking this pause, you too, will have the opportunity to hear yourSelf.

From the taking of our first breath, we are taught to focus our attention outside of us – on the voices of others who we trust to keep us safe and keep us on the ‘right’ path – leading us all to become experts at living lives that are externally referenced. For some, that small voice inside continues to haunt us. For others, we believe that it has long disappeared. And yet, what might our lives be like if we were to choose to become internally referenced; drawn to seek out the sounds inside of us, that those might better influence the design of our lives.
