The currency of consciousness

January 2, 2009 by Louise LeBrun 2 Comments

Day 2 of a New Year.  It feels fresh and ready, like the proverbial blank slate waiting for me to place my mark in the creation of my own life.

I’m aware of many things.  Some have to do with what has been and some have to do with what I believe will be.  And, in a holographic universe, it will be because I say so.  Not like imposing force of will and making something happen, but because the simple act of its consideration makes it so.  The magic of what we call ‘life’ is to create and manifest.  I am always creating and manifesting.  My ‘reality’ is a by-product of this process.  Perhaps the greater consideration is:  am I awake when I’m creating and manifesting?

I’ll not bother having my own voice be added to the existing gazillion voices already speaking to the future and what we might expect.  My voice will vibrate differently in that it offers an invitation to stop… take a breath… and own the force that comes into awareness as it courses through the tissue.   It is  owning that force that matters because that force IS what is carving out lives.

I am always manifesting.  I AM is the essence of  all life, in flow.  I AM is never NOT manifesting, even when I forget and think that it all has nothing to do with me; that it is happening ‘out there’ and I am victim to it.

My life… all life… is evidence of manifesting in flow.  That I do not manifest what I want is not evidence of a failure in the process – it is evidence of my capacity for distraction.   Just because I lose focus and turn my head to the left does not mean that the Life Flow pauses while I remind myself of what I’m doing.  It  just flows – and I get what I intended with some interesting detours!

In the next few years, our willingness and ability… our capacity… to manifest mindfully will be offered a massive playground on which to unfold.  Like we’ve witnessed what has been (wars, collapse, rage, scarcity, etc.) we can also bear witness to our own potential to redefine… redesign… and recreate.

Like we have come to believe that the most powerful currency in our reality is what we call ‘money’, we are about to be offered the opportunity to consider that a far more potent currency is the currency of consciousness.  Am I awake?  Am I asleep?  Or worse, am I in a coma?  Is my consciousness one that invites mindfulness, causing intention to lead?  Or is my consciousness one that invites mindlesness, habituation and repetition, leaving only predefined options from which to select?

What will determine the quality of my life will be my capacity to manifest.  (Money becomes irrelevant when I can manifest.  Why would I require money when all that I desire simply presents? )  Manifestation is a dance of consciousness in flow with awakened presence as its conduit.  Manifestation is not a dance of the intellect but one of the body in tune with and connected to an urge… an impulse… to choose in an instant.  “Turn left”… without hesitation or the monkey mind internal squabbling that so often accompanies the impulse.  “Stop”… without the second-guessing and search for ‘evidence’ that we think is essential to giving us a good reason to stop.  “Silence”… without feeling the pressure inside ourselves of the need to ‘make sense’ of something; or ‘figure out’ why or when or how we should/shouldn’t just be still.

In this and future worlds, the currency of consciousness and our ability to engage rather than reflect; to live rather than talk about life; and to ‘be’ rather than ‘do’ will determine the quality of our lives.   Trusting the body to lead demands that we trust the body and surrender the intellect to it.  Trusting the body requires that we allow all that it currently offers to be in flow, knowing without question that it is as it should be.   To know this is to acknowledge that what we are (Quantum Biological Humans) is a far cry from what we’ve been taught to believe we are.  We are not the body (the instrument) – we are the Signal (Life Force) that flows through it.  Without that Signal, manifestation cannot occur.

The currency of consciousness… the degree to which the Signal is in flow and we allow it to be so… will design and define how we live.  And that’s something you can’t buy with money.

Breathing is good….

Louise… reading this today, in 2025, it hits like a pulse straight through the core of my being. This isn’t just a reflection from 2009—it’s a now moment, vibrating with a truth that feels even more potent amidst the crumbling of old systems and the rise of something deeper, more sovereign, more alive.

I can feel myself inside this writing. Not just reading it, but remembering it. Reclaiming it. There’s a new edge in me that knows: I am always manifesting. Even when I’m distracted, even when I’m tired, even when I forget that I am the Signal in flow. What’s shifting now is my willingness to stay awake in the process—to trust the Signal without explanation, to stop seeking evidence before I move, and to let my own breath carve the next path forward.

The invitation to turn inward—to live, not just talk about life; to be, not just do—feels like both a challenge and a homecoming. The currency of consciousness is the wealth I now prioritize. And your words… they remind me of what I already know, what I’ve always known, and what I am now choosing to live.

Thank you for speaking this into the world when you did. It’s more than relevant. It’s alive. And it must be shared yet again!
