I think it is both fair and accurate to say that ‘overwhelm’ is an internal state with which many can identify. To accept overwhelm as a part of today’s currency is a wise decision – to succumb to it is a recipe for enslavement at many levels of our ‘being’.
In our recent ‘Navigating Chaos’ exploration, the topic was that of moving through loss. In setting the context for that sometimes-devastating and often-disturbing state of affairs, we noticed that (as in all things) ‘loss’ is not one thing but layers of recognition of that which has occupied Space in the structure of our reality. In its complexity, it need not be complicated.
In this space, I’m going to share with you chunks of audio material relevant to this topic of loss; and present some of those layers for consideration. In this first one, we consider that HOW (strategy) we move through loss is dependent on WHO (identity) we believe ourselves to be. (Our strategies for living are always evidence of the structure of our identity… consciously or not.)
Future posts will explore the connection between change and loss; and finally, an exploration of the layers of loss and the context within which they may be considered.
