New Book by Deb Ozarko: soon to be released

March 13, 2018 by Louise LeBrun 1 Comment

It came as a surprise.  Although I knew that Deb Ozarko was working on another book, I was honoured when she asked me if I would write the Foreword for this new creation.  With a sense of great possibility, I enthusiastically received this gift from her with a deep sense of the Sacred and the inevitable.

Very soon, her new book will be available.  In the meantime, I share with you the opening words of the Foreword that you might have a sense of what is to come.  I know that the deep intimacy and grasp of our reality will be difficult for many to consider and yet, in some way, will bring the comfort that comes with the validation of the intuitive. It will not be for everyone… and it is an invitation not to be missed in its expanded thinking and courageous facing-into what we too often hope will have been considered to be an outrageous outcome.  In truth, it may all be much closer at hand than we realize.

I share with you the first few opening lines:

“As I sit here – waiting to hear from my son and daughter-in-law if it’s a boy or a girl – I feel the double-edged potential of this moment in time:  is climate collapse to be our ending or will it be what it takes to propel us to become more than we had ever thought imaginable for ourselves as a species?  Perhaps our grandchildren would like to know….

Before we can begin a new conversation, we must be willing to move beyond the one we are in.  Sometimes, that release demands a provocation that cannot be readily dismissed. We have to open our hand and release what it holds before there is room to reach out for something else.  Something different.  Something that is not shaped and molded by that which is already so firmly embraced.  Far too often, the consequence for stubbornly and mindlessly holding firm and allowing fear to lead is to have that which our death-grip grasps so tightly, be eventually pried – one finger at a time –  from our cold, dead hand.  In these tumultuous times, letting go will not be an incremental journey.  It is already demanding abrupt change from within us and is the only response that can counteract the abrupt change of all that is unfolding around us.

Over many decades, I have come to trust a few simple precepts that shape the essentials of how I choose to live:
* Despite conflicting perceptions and judgements, there is always genius in what presents that will move me forward. Dare I look for it?
* In the face of what feels like evidence to the contrary, I know that I am whole, I am unique and I am essential to my world – and so are you. Will I trust it?
* Contrary to (often brutal) opposing dogma, I know that I am a living godforce expressing through the tissue of the body, into a physical world.  Will I choose from it?
It is through these lenses that I choose to consider my choices at this complex, pivotal and deeply defying time in our shared reality.   Sooner rather than later, we will all have to choose – mindfully or otherwise – perhaps even coming to discover that choosing NOT to choose is indeed, a telling choice of its own that will shape our lives.”
From there, the dive deepens.   Change is the evidence of breathing in and breathing out.  Choice is the membrane between each breath.  All of it is ours, for  the making.
Stay tuned!  I will be sharing with you the launch of Deb’s new book as it appears.  It will take an open mind and a courageous heart to embrace the potential, fully.

Got my free Kindle App for my Mac computer today so I could order Deb Ozarko’s new book! I’m really psyched to read it! She truly is one of the few truth tellers of today, and when I mean truth I mean a deep spiritual truth that is way beyond any nonsense of the political happenings of the world. I truly believe that we as a species are way past the left/right paradigm that pollutes this materialist world of separation. And I also believe that only those who are not afraid to do the inner work will be able to not only handle the chaos to come, they will also be richly rewarded on their spiritual path!
