It all feels very different when it’s personal; when someone you care about is living the challenges that Gaia is unleashing upon the planet. As I watch the images from Canmore, Alberta to all around the globe, I am reminded of the ‘hype’ around the impending global-annhilation predicted for 2012. And here we are – 2013 and counting… and our devastation is occurring in global nibbles rather than a single, big bite!
I revisited this recording and wondered: How am I different? And how am I the same! I may not know the future but I know that my ‘now’ is not and will never again be considered the same way. There is an intensity of awareness like nothing I have ever known before. I invite you to revisit 2012 and ask yourself, today: How am I different? How am I indifferent? And who does my world need me to become?

2012: Desperation or Inspiration?
Much in our world is changing – and fast! Gaia’s activity – evidenced by earthquakes and tsunamis, wildfires, flooding, punishing rains, mudslides, etc. – is occurring with an intensity and at a rate difficult to ignore. In the face of such challenges, how can we see potential and possibility when so many seem to see only destruction and gloom? It is in these moments that we are called to discover the ‘more’ that each of us carries and can connect with in a single breath. Take time for that breath and allow yourself to consider: what moves in you when you consider the times to come?
