It’s that time of year, again! With the rapid approach of Fall, my thoughts turn to the annual Emerging Futures retreat for women; at the Fairmont Chateau Montebello.

Such an odd way to define this event! How do we make sense of recognizing that our own evolution requires a sharp edge…. as we seek to embrace the curve of our own process of creation! Opposites? Alignments? Co-creative Forces of manifesting our lives?
Once again, the invitation presents to carve out Space for you to explore, embrace and reclaim : “How else might I choose to live MY life, today…. as a platform from which tomorrow can emerge?”
Everything is moving faster. From one day to the next, we are faced with increasingly more challenging layers of our shared humanity; as we ponder what the world will look like tomorrow for us, for our children and for our children’s children.
Our lives are a tapestry of increasing complexity; an unfolding series of paradoxes that only become visible to us once completed. Our ability to look back and see where we have been is often better honed that our ability to look forward and trust our intuitive ability to design where we might go.
With the passage of time, our perspective changes… and hopefully, expands. Our lives can become great swells and curves of expression and experience – all of which can become the food to nurture a deep trust in our innate resourcefulness in the creation of our own meaningful and memorable lives! Life lives in our conversations and starts with the one we are having with our Self. What conversations are you going to allow to take root in the minds and hearts of your children, your friends and the people you care about? Your conversations will determine the direction your life will take.

In a world of voracious consumption and debilitating debt; fuelled by the constant agitation of climate chaos and geopolitical uncertainty, ground yourSelf in what you really care about. Without that solid platform from which to choose, we can easily lose sight of our destination as we drift from one external demand to another. Somewhere, in what we have left behind, our inner cues wait for us to return.
